We have been present in the European fire protection market for more than 20 years with our special product range Batiboard®. At the time, our range of panels was developed and marketed for OEM applications. Since 2015, the Batiboard® range also covers the market for fire protection products (PFP) due to newly developed boards.
- Batiboard 550+® for PFP applications and the construction industry.
- Batiboard T ® for tunnels.
The addition of these two products makes the Batiboard® range a comprehensive product range for fire protection applications such as:
- Doors in wood EI30, 60 and 90
- Doors in wood EW60
- Steel doors EI30 and 60
- Thermal Bridge Insulation EI120
- Roller shutter doors EI90
- Self-supporting ducts type A, B and C up to EI120
- Steel construction enclosures up to 6 hours.
- Cable enclosure systems
Batiboard® can be used not only in buildings, but also in areas such as shipping, railways, ICE-vehicles, Electical vehicles, offshore, etc.
REACTION TO FIRE – RESISTANCE TO FIRE
All our products have been tested according to Euroclass methods by official bodies.
Being involved in a whole range of applications our boards have been integrated in elements tested according to different standards:
- EN1634 -1 and -3
- EN1365-2
- EN1364-1
- EN1366-2, -3 and -4
- EN1366 -1 and -4
- EN13381-3
Please note that in some cases the element in which our boards are integrated don’t have a dedicated test method.
In that case we work closely with the client and the laboratory to define optimal solutions and configurations.
Most applications are tested with an increase of temperature according to the ISO 834 also called cellulosic curve.
But in some cases esp. for tunnels more severe curves are used like the HCM in France, the RWS in NL, the ZTV in Germany or the UL1709 in the US.
